Building Marin's Bicycle Infrastructure
The Marin County Bicycle Coaliton's goal is for 20% of trips in Marin County to be made by walking or bicycling. To reach this goal, we work in partnership with our local town, city and County staff and public officials to implement the following campaigns.
Building the North-South Greenway
- Alto Tunnel: Connecting Mill Valley and Corte Madera
- Greenbrae Corridor Improvement Project: Advocating for a safe and separated crossing of Hwy 101 as part of the TAM and Caltrans freeway corridor project
- Central Marin Ferry Connection Project: Linking the Larkspur Ferry with towns and cities to the South
- Cal Park Hill Tunnel: Connecting Larkspur Ferry Terminal and San Rafael
- Lincoln Hill Pathway: Connecting Terra Linda and Downtown San Rafael
- Enfrente Pathway: Connecting Novato and Central/Southern Marin
- SMART Rail with Trail: Rail and Bike Path from Larkspur to Cloverdale
- Route Directions: Riding the North-South Greenway
Building the East-West Greenway
- Inkwells Bridge: Connecting 8 miles of pathways to the East-West Greenway
- Gallagher Ranch Acquisition: Connecting Tocoloma to Point Reyes Station in West Marin
