BICYCLE PARKING HAS MANY BENEFITS FOR EVENTS

• Attended bicycle parking ensures that bicycles parked at your event will be safe.
• Providing bicycle parking indicates that the management for your event is concerned about providing for transportation alternatives which are ecologically sound
• Every patron which arrives at your event on bicycle contributes towards saving limited parking spaces.
• We will help to advertise your event, if we are providing for bicycle parking.
• Valet bicycle parking "contains" patrons' bicycles in one "neat and tidy" space. Without a special place for bicycle parking, people end up parking their bikes on sidewalks, locking them to sign-posts and other streetscape objects. In addition to being more visually appealing, attended bicycle parking prevents "trip and fall" accidents which may occur if a patron trips on a bicycle in the middle of a sidewalk.

WHAT WE PROVIDE:

The Marin County Bicycle Coalition has our own bicycle parking equipment. This has made our system visually appealing, easy to transport, and extremely functional. We bring to each event:

• 15 custom made white bicycle racks (see attached photo). Each rack holds 14 bikes. (Allowing for 210 bikes to be parked.)
• Five foot fencing, with with portable posts to enclose a 50 ' X 50' corral.
• A cabana along with a table and chairs (for the bike parking attendants and MCBC literature), as well as our banner.
• A trailer which will hold all of this equipment, as we will need to break-down at night, and set-up again in the morning morning.
• Two bicycle parking staff at all times.
