Current Volunteer Opportunities

Support community improvement activities by volunteering for MCBC – you’re the backbone of our work! Lots of fun coming up as we head into our busy months. Can you spare a few hours?

Volunteer opportunities in June and July:

• Membership renewal mailing – June 19-20 (date is flexible) during office hours
• “Great Outdoors” event at Bay Model: June 14 – staff information/member recruitment table (call Tom Boss at 272-2756)
• Health & Safety Fair at Fireman’s Fund: June 25 – staff information/member recruitment table (call Tom Boss at 272-2756)
• Valet Bicycle Parking at Marin County Fair: July 2-6. Shifts from 10:30 AM – 3 PM and 3 - 7:30 PM each day. Free fair admission. (call Stephen Hesson at 415-606-7209).
• Valet Bicycle Parking at Italian Street Painting Festival. Shifts begin with set up at 8:30 AM and end with clean up at approximately 7:30 PM both days. (Call Stephen Hesson at (415) 606-7209.)
• Newspaper article archiving – during office hours at your convenience (1-2 hours/week)
• Membership renewal phone calls – mid-month, from your home or the MCBC office
• Assembling new-member packets – during office hours at your convenience
• Safe Routes to Schools – media/scrapbook archiving; during office hours at your convenience (contact Laura Kelly at 415-456-3469 x2# or laura@marinbike.org)
