Volunteers are the Backbone of MCBC
MCBC members support our organization through their membership fees, by asking friends to join MCBC, and most importantly, by sharing their valuable skills and time. Whether you’ve helped us in the past at an event, bike parking, mailing parties, town council meetings, or in some other way, we THANK YOU! MCBC couldn’t function without you, and you are key players in our bicycle advocacy successes.
Check out the current volunteer opportunities and let us know what you’d like to help with. Since calling individual members to ask for their help is very time consuming, we are not always able to reach you when something that would fit your bill is available!
Don’t miss the chance to meet fellow cyclists while supporting community improvement activities. There are many ways you can assist MCBC throughout the year by volunteering. We have weekly, monthly, and occasional activities - pick what suits your availability. We have opportunities where your finely-honed professional skills will enhance our staff efforts and save us time. Depending on the activity, we can use your experience in project management, graphic design, organization, long-term planning, catering, event coordination, marketing, etc.
