All systems are go for one more Happy Hour at the Hall this 2016! Come on down this Friday, October 21st, 5 to 8 PM. Join the Mountain Bike Hall of Fame as they serve sausages and beverages and give museum tours through the evening.
Many thanks to Iron Springs Pub & Brewery for once again donating great beer in support of this community event.
Hall of Fame Happy Hours give you a chance to stop by at the end of the day, soak in the history all around you, and meet your neighbors. Friday will be the 40th anniversary of the first Repack, the world’s first organized mountain bike race. They’ll be putting some special Repack items on display, including original posters, awards and record books.
You can also check out what’s new at MMB! They have recently added several new bikes to their amazing display, including a 1970s Schwinn Stingray transitional to BMX, a nickel-plated 1979 Ritchey, a 1989 Yeti Ultimate, a 1990 GT trials bike from “No Way” Hans Rey, and the Cannondale that 2016 Mountain Bike Hall of Fame inductee Missy Giove rode to victory at the 1995 World Cup Downhill Finals.
Suggested donation for our Happy Hours is $10. The Happy Hours are free to all Marin Museum of Bicycling members. Thank you for your support!
