Slow Riders: Pedal Powered Food Drive

Join Sustainable Fairfax and Kidical Mass/MotherLoad for a food drive bike ride to the World’s Largest Turkey at the Corte Madera Town Center. We will take an easy going ride along beautiful back streets and bike paths!

Riders can bring canned food and non-perishable items to “feed” to the Giant Turkey. We will also make stops at Good Earth Natural Foods (~11:30 AM) and Woodlands Market (~12 Noon) to pick up more donations and riders! All items collected will be donated to the SF-Marin Food Bank.

Refreshments will be provided by Corte Madera Town Center. Optional lunch with the group (please bring lunch money or bag lunch).

Motherload will also be documenting this event for both the Motherload Movie, and for a national television spot to promote giving and making healthy choices for our bodies and our environment. (They will have releases to sign at the event).

Children under 10 must ride as a passenger. Bike Helmets are required.

Event is Free – riders can bring canned & non-perishable food items to donate
