Tamarancho 2017/2018 Winter Trail Work: Saturday on the Loop

January 6 @ 10:00 am - 3:00 pm

Tamarancho 2017/2018 Winter Trail Work: Saturday on the Loop
Tamarancho trail work season begins. After a long wet season, the trails need some TLC to get ready for another year of single track goodness.
The loop trails at Tamarancho were constructed over a 6 year period, from 1995 to 2001, by hundreds of local volunteer cyclists. The work was supervised by Jim Jacobsen, who was president of Bicycle Trails Council, which paid for materials. In 2013, Davey Simon coordinated with Jim and other volunteers to add the new Endor Flow Trail.
To maintain these amazing and popular resources, we depend upon your efforts at the Tamarancho Trailwork Days to maintain, and improve the trails. This involves clearing drainage, cutting back foliage, removing invasive plants, and more. No experience necessary. This is your chance to give back to the best bike trail system in Marin. THESE TRAILS NEED YOUR HELP!
SCHEDULE: Winter 2017/2018 there will be trail work on weekends through January 21, 2018.
On Saturdays the work will be on the trails that make up the loop, and on Sundays, the work will be on the Flow Trail.
