It's not just the free beer Biketoberfest volunteers Bring Fall Festival to Life

Featuring an extensive beer garden and celebrating all things bicycle, the MCBC Biketoberfest annual fall festival takes place on Saturday, October 14. Biketoberfest is MCBC’s largest annual fundraiser, so we need your help to assure a successful bicycle celebration.

Volunteer for a shift and receive a free beer tasting ticket (21 and over), meal ticket and MCBC t-shirt (if you don’t already have one). There’s no more festive way to support MCBC than to join the Biketoberfest volunteer team!  If you’ve ever attended, you know how fun this event is and see the many volunteers it takes to successfully make it all happen. How many, you ask? 142 volunteers are needed to bring Biketoberfest Marin to life.

Ask any former Biketoberfest volunteer and they will tell you it is more like a party than working. We have several key volunteer positions still open.

  • Parking Lot Volunteers – Good Earth, Marin Town & Country Club & Picaroto Dry Cleaners
  • Musician Assistant – help set up and break down of the bands
  • Crossing Guard – ensure patrons cross safely from one side of Biketoberfest to the other
  • Set up Friday night (this is a late shift running until 10:30 PM)
  • Event Security – ensure that beer stays in the beer garden
  • Roving Volunteer – help out where needed
  • Recycling Assistant – make sure anything that doesn’t get eaten makes it into the right bin
  • Clean-Up Crew – the post-event heroes who break down Biketoberfest and leave the grounds better than when they started

Any of these options provide good vibes, tasty food, live music and samples of beer (21 and older), so tap the button below and hop on over to the VOLUNTEER SIGN UP.
