MCBC Signature Event Bike to Work Day

Bike to Work Day Takes Place Each May

“Let’s Ride!”
Thursday, May 11, 2017
Bike to Work Day returns in May with nearly 20 energizer stations at key locations throughout the county, encouraging Marin residents to try commuting on two wheels and celebrating those who bike to work regularly.

Bike to Work Day - Mill Valley PathThis year’s challenge is simple – pledge to get someone new out on a bike on this day!  Find a co-worker, neighbor or friend who likes to ride their bike and help them get to work and back (or do their errands if they work from home).  It’s a great opportunity to show up and be counted as part of this car-free cycling celebration!

Keep an eye out for stories on MCBC members who have figured out some of the tricks. The Bike to Work Day (BTWD) program is made possible through the generous support of the Metropolitan Transportation Commission, 511.org and Kaiser Permanente.
