West Marin 10/7 Hit-and-Run Looking for More Witnesses

Since MCBC sent Friday’s email calling for witnesses to the crash, or to other dangerous or aggressive driving actions by Paff, we have heard from several of you. And so has the CHP. Those reports are increasingly telling a story of senseless road rage.

A devastating incident occurred during the Jensie Gran Fondo of Marin on Saturday, October 7. Novato resident Aaron Paff plowed his pickup truck into four riders on Pt. Reyes-Petaluma Road, only four miles from the ride’s finish at Stafford Lake Park.

County of Marin Releases Alto Tunnel Cost Estimate

This Tuesday, the County of Marin  released the Alto Tunnel Investigation and Cost Estimate Update, signaling the completion of several years of information-gathering on the long-shuttered tunnel. “MCBC is delighted that this day has finally come,” said Executive Director Jim Elias. “With detailed cost estimates in hand, we now know what it will take to close the last significant gap in the North-South Greenway.”
