MCBC 2017 Solstice Fondo: Hot Riding & Big Smiles

Mother Nature did not disappoint! When over 100 riders began to head out from Fairfax on the 2017 Solstice Fondo event, temperatures were already in the low 80’s. The longest loop had over 39 miles and 7,000 feet of elevation.

Solstice Volunteers Ensure Event Success

Once again, our 2017 Solstice Fondo volunteers rocked it! From setting up at 6:00 AM, keeping spirits high and riders on track as Course Marshals and help at the post-ride BBQ, our volunteers made this event memorable.

Region 4 Pro-Trail Comments Needed Now!

During the recent Marin County Parks Region 4 Road and Trail Workshop, Parks staff presented a plan to adopt four social trails on Mount Burdell for bicycle use. MCBC Joins 25 California Trail Advocates at State Capitol

In late May, MCBC Off-Road Director Tom Boss took part in what was inarguably the most epic Mountain Bike Advocate Lobby Day to date – meeting with California State Senators and Assembly members and directly asking for their support of key changes.
