Turn Shock Into Aww! Let’s crank the courtesy up to the max.

In the past 12 months we’ve added seven miles of new trail riding experiences with the opening of Bill’s Trail, Bob Middagh Trail and Ponti Ridge Trail. One of our 3 Gaps projects is underway on Azalea Hill and the other, Easy Grade Trail, is shovel ready with a possible funding announcement in coming weeks. Now more than ever, we need to be model trail riders to keep the momentum going.

E-bikes on Public Lands

Whether you want to ditch the car, haul kids and groceries, or simply require a little help to get on the bike, pedal-assist e-bikes are becoming an integral part of daily life. You can now ride them in many of Marin’s public lands and take them to popular cycling destinations.

What to Pack for a Bikepacking Adventure

In this post I’m going to run through what I pack when I go for a bikepacking weekend. This list was just for an overnight trip, but a two- or three-night trip would be pretty similar, albeit with more food. I’m providing links to some of the products that I use, but there’s nothing special about any of them – you can likely make do with much of what you already own. At its heart, bikepacking is just offroad biking + camping, so if you already do those two things, you’ll be right at home.

Ponti Ridge Trail Wins Best New Trail

More Bike Bell!

Bicyclists are encouraged to say “hello” and use a bike bell on trails and pathways. Our multi-use pathways and trails are enjoyed by walkers, hikers, families, equestrians, and fellow bicyclists. To enhance safety on these shared facilities, Marin County Bicycle Coalition (MCBC) will install a free bell on any bike without one.
